Air Tahiti Nui arrives and departs from Terminal B, one of eight terminals at LAX Airport:
- Departure: Air Tahiti Nui departures are handled on Terminal B’s upper level, close to Aisle B. The majority of Air Tahiti Nui aircraft take off from the West Concourse’s Gates 134–148.
- Arrivals: Upon arriving at Terminal B, international travelers flying with Air Tahiti Nui will have to go through passport check and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Following customs, you can proceed to baggage claim at the Lower Arrivals Level of Terminal B.
- Baggage Policy: To ensure a comfortable and secure journey, the maximum weight allowed for checked baggage is 32 kilos, or around 70.5 pounds. All checked luggage must measure no more than 158 cm (62.2 inches) (the sum of the three dimensions, A, B, and C) at Air Tahiti Nui flights.

- Check-In Counters: Air Tahiti Nui check-in counters are situated in A24-30, Aisle B, Departures Level. Check-in opens 3 hours before the planned departure time and closes one hour before takeoff. Air Tahiti Nui offers self-service kiosks at LAX’s TBIT where passengers can check in, obtain boarding passes, and tag their bags.
- Baggage Drop & Self-Bag Drop: You can drop off your bags at the same counters of the check-in areas in Aisle B at TBIT. Air Tahiti Nui does not currently offer self-bag drop kiosks at LAX.
